I have always liked Japanese zen gardens. They look so organized that they give me a feeling of peace and contentment.
The only “zen” thing about our garden however is the Buddha statue but if I had control over the direction of this garden, I’d go zen.

Since I’m not much of a green thumb, I like that most Japanese gardens don’t focus on the plants as much as the rock formation, water placement and Asian accessories. This sounds so much more like a garden I can actually manage.
